About the artist
Mari-Liis is an Estonian artist and graphic designer whose work bridges quiet introspection and bold visual storytelling.
She works with canvas and paper, often layering acrylic paint with collage elements — especially old printed paper — letting each piece unfold slowly and intuitively.
Drawn to the character and texture of aged materials, her collages explore contrasts: harmony and rebellion, muted tones and expressive marks, stillness and movement. You might notice fragments of text, spontaneous drips, or the influence of street culture peeking through.

For Mari-Liis, making art is a way to process the world — not to explain it, but to share how it feels.
Her work has been exhibited in various local venues in Estonia between 2020 and 2023.
